Hello, beautiful!
I just spent an incredible weekend in Melbourne! I hadn't been there before, but I'm absolutely addicted to travelling and seeing new places. It was great! I saw Little Penguins, and went to the top of the tallest building in the southern hemisphere, and went to cute little bars and cafes to my heart's content. I might move there next! It's brilliant.
Naturally, I wanted some cute nails for my trip.
You guys know I love rainbows :D so here's my take on the Acid Zebra look!
The base is a sponged gradient of Zoya Charisma, Orly Blue Collar, and Sinful Colors Neon Melon. With these three sorta-primary colours, I was almost able to get a full rainbow effect. I made the mistake of sponging these over a couple of coats of the yellow, though, instead of over a white base. Charisma is more fuchsia than it looks in these photos (as you can see here) since it mixed with the yellow base to make a more orangey-red tip.
Next, I added one coat each of two different holo glitters--BYS Glitter Crystal and China Glaze Fairy Dust. They're basically the same type of topper, but Glitter Crystal has larger and more irregular glitters than Fairy Dust. I wanted lots of depth and sparkle!
Over that, I have stamped the zebra-print image from Konad plate m57 using Konad black special polish. On the ring finger, as you can see, I did only half the nail in a diagonal pattern, just to switch it up a little. Last, went over the line with Stripe Rite silver glitter.
Topped with Seche Vite.
One more, because everyone loves blurry pics of holo glitter ;)
I hope you liked these! I love 'em so much I'm still wearing them. I'll change it up tomorrow, though, so stay tuned for more soon! xoxo

Outdoors in shade, posing with my workout shoes, which kind of inspired the colour scheme :) |
