Hello, lovely people!
Today I decided to tone down the crazy colours and sparkles and do something a little more subtle and chic :)
Back to my usual post format, so please click the jump to see more!
The base colour is one of my very few tan/nude shades, and I don't even have a name for it. It's by a brand called Markwins (my brother Mark approves), and it's got a great formula. Two easy coats covered perfectly, and the slight shimmer makes this almost frosty, but not quite--just nice :D
I used OPI Suzi Loves Cowboys (brown creme) and China Glaze Liquid Leather (black) along with a small dotting tool to create the leopard print. Finally, I added a diagonal black French tip to the ends.
I knew I wanted to mattify this with OPI Matte Topcoat, but I got distracted and forgot to use regular topcoat first, so that's why the index finger is all smudgy. :(
So, there you have it. A little something for those of you who don't always want crazy nails. Look, I even trimmed them down a little for this design! :)
See you next time! xoxo
