Good day, my beautiful readers :) I'm going to the beach tomorrow! It's been a while, and I'm glad I get the opportunity to go again. I just love lying in the sun and swimming in the ocean!
It was the perfect time to try out my new Born Pretty Store ocean-themed stamping plate!

The plate is one of those "buffet" style ones, which I've always wanted to try. It has some individual shapes too--here's what it looks like:
I chose this one to review because I'd never used a BPS plate before, nor one of these where you can pick the area you stamp with. No two nails look the same! I did a mix of full-nail and the individual images, even using the words Born Pretty that are etched at the top, just for fun :D But first, let's talk about the background!
I did a beachy gradient with three Zoya Pixie Dust shades--Godiva (sand), Liberty (medium blue), and Sunshine (darker blue). It's still textured in the above shot, and honestly, I love the look. Sponging makes it even rougher than it is when painted on, though, and it did snag on things. Plus, I needed a smooth surface for stamping! So I applied two coats of Seche Vite, and then did my stamping with Konad white special polish and my new squishy stamper (also from BPS!), then topped with one more coat to seal it in.
Some parts of the image could have been etched a little deeper, but I like the way it worked for this look. It actually does look like seafoam, and I love these nails so much!
I don't often take photos of my right hand, but I did some things differently over there, so i'll show you. My small nail broke literally the day before I painted these, so please excuse how sad it looks.
In conclusion, I'm really happy with the plate! Especially for the price, it's lovely, and I will be ordering more of these to try out :)

Have a lovely day, and I'll see you soon for more :) xoxo
