Matching Nails & Dress: Red, White, and Black

Hello! I'm finally getting better, woo! I'm always amazed (in a horrified kind of way) how much mucous one head can produce...

On a less gross note, I went to a wedding recently and wore a new dress, and decided to do a set of matching nails to go with it :)

I really love how these look, especially with the outfit! Read on to see :)

So, first of all, here's the dress. Not a great photo, but you get the idea. Red with black and white distressed details, and this nice multifaceted beaded necklace.

The red polish is Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Rapid Red, the white is Ulta Snow White, and the black is Cult Nails Nevermore. I only needed one coat of this awesome red creme, then I used the dry-brush technique to add the bits of black and white. I'd intended to use a metallic-gunmetal polish to do French tips, but I found these nice rhinestones that matched the necklace beads so well I ended up adding those as an accent on the thumb.

One more, with the dress and beads...

I hope you liked this one! Simple to do, yet worked really well with the outfit. I got several compliments on it while I was out, so that's always a plus :)

Thanks for stopping by today! See you next time xoxo
